Working Writers is a script consultancy run by two writers who are writing, selling and making their own scripts and want to help you with yours.

We understand the challenges you face, we’ve invariably encountered them too and we can  show you the solutions we found from years in the business.

Between us we have Emmy and BAFTA nominations, six short films, two radio series, countless writers’ rooms, thirty four years as professional writers, six Edinburgh shows and eleven published books (via traditional and indie route; we can advise on both.) If you want a better look at our individual work, it’s all here. But we work as a pair because we know how invaluable two different perspectives are on your writing.

As writers, our speciality is comedy and comedy drama, but as consultants we work with all genres, and we both teach screenwriting at universities and film schools (NYU, London Film School, Central School of Speech and Drama).
