Get Writing: Start Your Short

Our first course is to encourage newer writers, and emerging writers who feel stuck, to explore the theory of writing and write their own short. Brace yourself for our combined 17 years of experience writing and a nerdy fixation on the theory and practical tips to help you, using real-career examples, exercises and workshops to get you learning skills.

We want to give you something tangible to take away at the end of the course and a short screenplay is a great calling-card and a disciplined way to start writing, even if your immediate goal isn’t production.
